Who writes here
Five beats, each owned by one person. A byline here is a real name with a page behind it, because a review signed by a house account asks you to trust nobody in particular.
Appcyclopedia Editorial
Reviews here carry a score only after the person who wrote them has used the software themselves, on the platforms listed at the top of the page. How-to articles say at the top which of two things they are: researched against the current interface with the references named, or performed start to finish by someone here and dated. We take no briefings before testing and no payment for placement.
Used for pieces written collectively, and for anything published before a beat had an owner.

All of these roles are unpaid and the site has no funding. That is stated first because it decides whether the rest is worth reading.
